SAAM Auction - Dorstenia foetida ssp. 4"

100% of proceeds from this auction will be donated directly to our local non-profit, Family Resources to directly benefit sexual assault victims, and to aid in their efforts of prevention and awareness. April is: Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and we have partnered with Family Resources to host a "Not So Silent Plant Auction" to raise funds for them and to spread awareness. This local non-profit is vital to our community and they provide many free services to directly support victims of assault and abuse in our community. PLEASE, help by bidding to raise as much funds as we possibly can for this non-profit!

This auction is for a very unique and not often seen plant, especially at this size! This plant is straight out of the personal collection of Austin, the owner of QB. Austin was gifted the original Dorstenia foetida ssp. many years ago and this one was grown from a hand collected seed from that exact plant. It is known to be a subspecies of Dorstenia foetida with it's exact taxonomical classification either unknown or not registered anywhere currently yet. You will not find this plant being cultivated and grown elsewhere as it is truly unique. This one is growing in a 4" clear plastic pot with lots of active growth and many flowers. These Dorstenia develop star shaped flowers that create seeds and can eventually "launch" their seeds up to 15 feet away to spread!
