Base Mix - Potting Mix - 14 Quart Large Bag

Designed, mixed, and produced in-house at Quartz Botanicals, our Base Mix potting mix is designed to be a more moisture retentive mix, or as a base mix to add in your own amendments.

This mix is designed to perform like a jungle forest floor. It is made with fine bark, aged bark, work castings, bat guano, peat moss, fine charcoal, #2 perlite, and much more. This mix is loaded up with more mycorrhizal innoculants to establish a beneficial soil biology. 

This mix is good for plants like Fittonia, Calathea, Maranta, Goldfish and Lipstick Plants, Alocasia, Pilea, Jewel Orchids, Pellionia, Syngonium, Aglaonema, Begonia, Ferns, and many more.
